CMENTARZ
Cmentarz w Pobiednej to jedno z najstarszych miejsc pamięci na terenie gminy Leśna. Założony w XVIII wieku jako cmentarz przy dawnym kościele ewangelickim, otoczony kamiennym murem, zachował liczne nagrobki i epitafia dawnych mieszkańców – świadectwo wielowiekowej obecności społeczności luterańskiej w regionie. Wśród drzew i kamiennych płyt kryją się historie ludzi, którzy przez stulecia tworzyli lokalną tożsamość i kulturę Pogórza Izerskiego. Szczególne znaczenie ma fakt, że właśnie tu, w obrębie ruin kościoła i dawnej nekropolii, spoczywa Adolf Traugott von Gersdorf (1744–1807) – wybitny uczony, przyrodnik i astronom, którego działalność rozsławiła Pobiedną w całej Europie. Dziś cmentarz jest miejscem zadumy i pamięci o dawnych mieszkańcach, symbolem przemijania, ale też trwałości ludzkiego dziedzictwa. Odwiedzając to miejsce, warto zatrzymać się na chwilę refleksji i z szacunkiem spojrzeć na kamienie, które mówią więcej niż niejeden pomnik.
THE CEMENTARY The cemetery in Pobiedna is one of the oldest places of remembrance in the Leśna municipality. Established in the 18th century as a burial ground for the former Evangelical church, and surrounded by a stone wall, it has preserved numerous tombstones and epitaphs of former residents — a testament to the centuries-long presence of the Lutheran community in the region. Among the trees and gravestones lie the stories of people who helped shape the identity and culture of the Izera Foothills. Of special significance is the fact that within the ruins of the church and the old cemetery rests Adolf Traugott von Gersdorf (1744–1807) — a distinguished scholar, naturalist, and astronomer whose work made Pobiedna known throughout Europe.
Today, the cemetery is a place of reflection and remembrance — a symbol of transience, but also of the lasting human legacy. Visitors are encouraged to pause for a moment and look with respect upon the stones that speak more than many monuments.
DER FRIEDHOF Der Friedhof in Pobiedna ist einer der ältesten Erinnerungsorte in der Gemeinde Leśna. Er wurde im 18. Jahrhundert als Begräbnisstätte der ehemaligen evangelischen Kirche angelegt und ist von einer Steinmauer umgeben. Zahlreiche Grabsteine und Epitaphien sind bis heute erhalten – ein Zeugnis der jahrhundertelangen Anwesenheit der lutherischen Gemeinde in dieser Region. Zwischen den Bäumen und Steinen ruhen die Geschichten der Menschen, die Identität und Kultur des Isergebirgsvorlandes mitgestaltet haben. Besondere Bedeutung hat die Tatsache, dass sich innerhalb der Kirchenruine und des alten Friedhofs die Grabstätte von Adolf Traugott von Gersdorff (1744–1807) befindet – eines bedeutenden Gelehrten, Naturforschers und Astronomen, der Pobiedna in ganz Europa bekannt machte. Heute ist der Friedhof ein Ort der Besinnung und Erinnerung – ein Symbol der Vergänglichkeit, aber auch der bleibenden Werte menschlichen Erbes. Besucher sind eingeladen, in Stille zu verweilen und die Steine mit Respekt zu betrachten, die mehr sagen als viele Denkmäler.
HŘBITOV V POBIEDNÉ Hřbitov v Pobiedné patří k nejstarším památným místům v obci Leśna. Byl založen v 18. století jako hřbitov u bývalého evangelického kostela a obklopen kamennou zdí. Dochovalo se zde mnoho náhrobků a epitafů bývalých obyvatel – svědectví o staleté přítomnosti luterské komunity v kraji. Mezi stromy a kamennými deskami se ukrývají příběhy lidí, kteří po staletí utvářeli identitu a kulturu Jizerského podhůří. Zvláštní význam má skutečnost, že právě zde, v oblasti ruin kostela a starého hřbitova, odpočívá Adolf Traugott von Gersdorf (1744–1807) – významný učenec, přírodovědec a astronom, který proslavil Pobiednou po celé Evropě. Dnes je hřbitov místem rozjímání a vzpomínek – symbolem pomíjivosti, ale i trvalého lidského dědictví. Návštěvníci jsou vyzýváni, aby se zde na chvíli zastavili a s úctou pohlédli na kameny, které často vypovídají víc než mnohé pomníky.
